Both the Buxton and O'Hagan families have honoured monumental occasions with verse. Please write a verse in the space that follows. We suggest you contribute a limerick, because they are short and fun (more information below).

I/we would like to be informed about the events the bridesmaids and groomsmen are organizing on December 27

A Limerick is a poem of five lines. Lines one, two and five rhyme and are of the same length. Lines three and four also rhyme and are usually shorter. Traditionally the Limerick has afforded the writer poetic license to be a little risque. We won't mind that.

The limerick packs laughs anatomical
Into space that is quite economical.
But the good ones I've seen
So seldom are clean
And the clean ones so seldom are comical.

A rhyme your reply should include
Happy, sad or just a bit rude
You'd be right to assume
it's about bride or groom
And failure to try might be booed
